Richard Trammell - Tenor, is the Director of Singer’s Workshop and a Lecturer in Voice at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. He received his degree in Vocal Performance at Texas State University and continues to serve the Hill Country area as a performer and educator. Trammell is the Director of Music Ministry at First Christian Church in San Marcos, TX. He also has served on the voice faculty of Reagan High School for the past eight years. Trammell currently serves as the interim secretary for the South Texas NATS chapter. Mr. Trammell is an active member of the San Antonio Chamber Choir, where he routinely serves as a featured soloist. He was the artist in residence for the 2022 and 2024 Texas Children’s Choir season. Since 2016, Trammell has been on the faculty for the Texas State Choir Camps as a voice instructor. Recently, Trammell has joined the faculty of the Cactus Pear Young Artist Music Festival for their 27th season. He has coached many TMEA All-State choir members and guided many students throughout their high school music journeys, where they now attend various music programs around the country. Mr. Trammell thrives in teaching and coaching an array of vocal styles from classical, musical theatre, and commercial. Mr. Trammell currently resides in San Antonio with his wife, Sara (Choral Director), and three dogs (Tucker, Ella, Todd)
