Cynthia Rios-Solis

Assistant Venue Manager Department of Music Office Location: Bennack Music Center 3rd Floor Suite

Cynthia Rios-Solis is a native of Dallas, Texas. She has accumulated over 35 years of events management experience since graduating from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  

As a proud UIW alumnae, Cynthia is happy to be working as the Assistant Venue Manager in the UIW Department of Music overseeing the scheduling of the beautiful 500-seat Diane Bennack Concert Hall and the intimate 100-seat Ingrid Seddon Recital Hall. She currently manages a growing number of returning commercial clientele, which brings world-renowned musicians, artists and educators to the Luella Bennack Music Center.

Coming back to the UIW campus has been Cynthia’s aspiration for many years and she is delighted to finally be back to her first home in San Antonio.

When not working, Cynthia spends her time with family, running random 5K races, swimming, reading, and streaming true crime podcasts. She also participates in the Animal Care Services’ Trap-Neuter-Release program to curb the feral cat population in San Antonio.
