Alesia Bridgewski is a pianist and laureate of international music competitions in both solo and piano duet performance. She is an active interpreter of contemporary music and has received numerous awards as a collaborative pianist. Her solo performances have been broadcast on Belarusian radio.
Alesia currently serves as a Collaborative Pianist at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, where she recently performed Poulenc’s Piano Concerto with the UIW Symphony Orchestra. She is also the organist at St. Joseph Catholic Church in downtown San Antonio and is pursuing a Graduate Degree in Piano Performance at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she holds a Graduate Assistantship in Accompanying.
Her repertoire includes Beethoven’s Piano Concerto in G major, Brahms’ Sonata in F-sharp minor, Barber’s Piano Concerto, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. As a chamber musician, she has performed Prokofiev’s Sonata for Cello and Piano, Brahms’ Cello Sonata, Op. 38, Schumann’s Violin Sonatas, and a variety of Romances by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.
