Lauren Francis has been teaching online and on-ground art history in California and Texas since 2004. She currently instructs Masterworks of World Art, Survey of Art One and Survey of Art Two for UIW. In summer of 2023, she launched an inaugural art history program in Strasbourg, France with the support of UIW and the CEPA foundation. As a teacher, she focuses on major themes and threads of art history, artist biographies and compelling historical anecdotes. Her courses are a combination of lecture and discussion, with many interactive and hands-on activities to foster student engagement.
