After graduating from UTSA, I lived in El Paso, Tx. for the next 30 years. My wife, Kandis, is from Michigan and we have been married for 25 years. We have one son and three daughters; one grandson and four granddaughters. We moved to San Antonio in 2016 to be close to all our family members.

I was a Full-Time Spanish professor at El Paso Community College for 30 years. During those years I taught Spanish as a Second Language and Spanish to Heritage Speakers. I taught these classes in person as well as online.

Enjoy walking in the park with my wife. On Fridays, when the weather is good, we like to visit different parks, and have picnics. Our goal is to visit all the parks in the city.
