Dr Diana Beckman-Mendez

Diana Beckmann-Mendez PhD, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Beckmann-Mendez has over 20 years of experience as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) providing healthcare to patients of all ages in a variety of settings including community health, college health centers, homeless clinics, and rural health. She has maintained continuous board certification as an FNP and currently works in a nurse-managed health center providing wellness care for underserved populations. Dr. Beckmann-Mendez is the Graduate Nursing Chair and Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program for the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of the Incarnate Word. She is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners association and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties.


Dr Holly DiLeo

Holly DiLeo PhD, APRN, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Dr. DiLeo is the Director of the UIW Nursing Cardinal Clinic, a nurse-managed clinic providing preventative health services to the underserved of San Antonio. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. DiLeo has over 30 years of nursing experience with 20+ years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is an Assistant Professor teaching in the BSN to DNP Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at the University of the Incarnate Word . Her clinical experience includes working in both pediatrics and women's health, which she loves, as well as in college health and military medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Texas Nurse Practitioner organization, and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties.


Leticia Ybarra

Leticia Ybarra MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Provider, Nursing Cardinal Clinic

Mrs. Ybarra received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Mrs. Ybarra has over 25 years of nursing experience with the last 15 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a nursing instructor teaching in the traditional undergraduate Nursing Program and in the BSN to DNP Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). Her clinical experience includes working in general family practice with the majority of her time spent practicing in women’s health and pediatrics. She is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners organization.
