Scholarships (Fall 2023-2024)

  • Freshman scholarships for full-time students range from $7,000 to $20,000 per year.
  • Freshman graduating from Catholic high schools receive an additional $2,000 per year.
  • Transfer scholarships for full-time students range from $10,000 to $15,000 per year. In addition, each Phi Theta Kappa member may be awarded $2,000 per year.
  • Students pursuing their first bachelor's degree, with their most recent 24 credit hours from Alamo Colleges and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, will be awarded $2,000 per year in addition to other transfer academic scholarships awarded.

Financial Aid (Fall 2022)

  • 99% of UIW first-time freshman students received financial assistance.
  • 51% of UIW first-time freshman students were eligible for Pell Grant.

UIW Athletics

UIW students can study abroad in nearly 140 "sister schools" located in 44 countries while earning academic credit hours towards their degree. Various countries include China, Taiwan, Japan, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Australia, Italy, New Zealand, Brazil, England, Germany, France and Thailand.
