If you grew up in San Antonio, you probably remember driving by with your family on a cold December evening just to catch a glimpse of the Christmas lights. Watching in awe, you never imagined that one day you'd walk on these same grounds as a student, the very campus that lived in your childhood memories.
Nolan Ellis, BS ’19, MBA ’20, came to UIW in 2016 after earning a spot on the UIW Cardinal baseball team. He played for three years with aspirations of competing at the professional level, but chose to forge a new path with his talents.
UIW is home to many, including generations of families who have proudly made UIW their alma mater. Rozlyn Bermea, BA in Education ’20 and MA in Education ’23, carries that legacy forward; honoring the relatives who came before her, and celebrating the new generation starting their own UIW chapter.
