The Purpose of the University Mission and Ministry is to make visible and tangible the Incarnate Word of God in the University.

On Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) hosted the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) as they presented their “On the Road” mini-conference on the Broadway campus.
On Sunday, Feb. 9, Alumni Relations and Mission and Ministry celebrated the couples whose love originated at the University with the annual Cardinal Couples Mass in Our Lady’s Chapel. The lovebirds were welcomed back to the Nest to prayerfully rejoice in their continued love for their partners and for the University that brought them together.
Through the combined support of UIW Mission and Ministry and Behavioral Health Services, the University is launching a new ministry that will provide support and resources to campus members who have taken on the role of long-term caregivers to their loved ones.
UIW fosters a vibrant spiritual community by offering diverse worship opportunities. From daily reflections to festive campus-wide celebrations, students can connect with their faith through a variety of Catholic and ecumenical services held in Our Lady's Chapel and the Chapel of the Incarnate Word.
