The Catholic Higher Education Alliance of Rising Institutions in Service and Mission (CHARISM) connects educators to a powerful network of partner institutions. These programs expand your instructional horizons, foster cross-campus scholarship and deepen community engagement, all while enriching your teaching at your home campus.
The CHARISM Faculty Exchange Program provides faculty with opportunities to collaborate across institutions through teaching, mentorship, curriculum innovation and student engagement initiatives. Faculty participation supports mission integration, interdisciplinary learning and the development of collaborative academic experiences across the alliance.
Faculty-led immersion experiences allow educators to connect classroom learning with community engagement, service and experiential education. These programs foster interprofessional collaboration, global learning and mission-centered teaching while creating transformative educational opportunities for students and faculty alike.
The CHARISM Study Abroad Program encourages collaborative international engagement through shared academic experiences, global partnerships and culturally immersive opportunities. Faculty may participate in developing or leading international programming that advances intercultural learning, scholarship and institutional collaboration.
Joint courses provide faculty with opportunities to co-develop and co-teach courses across CHARISM institutions. These collaborative teaching models promote innovation, interdisciplinary engagement, shared expertise and expanded academic offerings for students throughout the network.
