Student Programs
Study Away Program
CHARISM’s Study Away Program provides students with the opportunity to take courses and engage in academic experiences across partner institutions within the CHARISM network. Students remain connected to their home institution while expanding their educational experience through exposure to diverse campus communities, cultures and mission-centered learning environments. The program is designed to promote academic exploration, leadership development, service and intercultural engagement while supporting timely degree progression.
Immersion Program
The CHARISM Immersion Program offers short-term, faculty-led experiences designed to connect academic learning with service, cultural engagement and professional development. Immersions may include international, domestic, community-based, or interdisciplinary experiences that allow students to engage directly with communities and organizations aligned with the mission and values of CHARISM institutions. These experiences emphasize reflection, collaboration and experiential learning.
Course Sharing
Course Sharing allows students enrolled at one CHARISM institution to access select courses offered by another partner institution. This model expands academic opportunities, increases access to specialized coursework and strengthens collaboration across the alliance. Through Course Sharing, students can benefit from the collective expertise of faculty across the CHARISM network while remaining enrolled at their home institution.
Academic Pathways
Academic Pathways create intentional connections between undergraduate, graduate and professional programs across CHARISM institutions. These pathways are designed to support student success through coordinated advising, streamlined progression opportunities and collaborative academic partnerships. Pathways may include articulated admissions opportunities, shared programming, interdisciplinary experiences and mission-centered professional preparation.
