Merry Christmas and Happy New Year | A Message from President Evans
Dear UIW Community,
The holidays at the University of the Incarnate Word are truly special. We began the season in our trademark spirit of giving by hosting Light the Way, which welcomed thousands of our friends and neighbors to our Broadway campus. We organized food and gift drives that have blessed our wider community. And, this past weekend, we honored our fall class of 2024–our “Christmas graduates,” as Sr. Eilish Ryan affectionately calls them–celebrating their scholarship and service.
As we prepare to celebrate this Holy season and enjoy a well-deserved rest, I want to share my gratitude to all who form our university community and bring our Mission to life in many ways. In that spirit, I have prepared a special message of thanks and Christmas cheer.
I wish you and your loved ones a blessed and joyful holiday season and a very happy start to the new year.
Praised be the Incarnate Word!
Sincerely,
Thomas M. Evans, PhD
President
