At the first UIW home football game, the incoming class will be the honorary UIW hosts. Those who purchase a freshman jersey will take part in the pre-game ceremonies, including participation in the Flight of the Cardinals—a walk through Tailgate Alley with the Spirit Team, passing the Bronze Cardinal for luck, and across the football field!
All jerseys will have the unique number relevant to the incoming class graduating year on the back with a customized name of your choosing above it. You can submit your customization during purchase. All purchases must be pre-ordered online, so don’t wait! Each jersey is $35.00.

Annual Pinning Ceremony

Commemorate the start of your college career at the University of the Incarnate Word by participating in this very special UIW tradition. The Annual Pinning Ceremony is a symbol of your promise to achieve personal and academic success. Your friends and family will serve as witnesses to this commitment. Receive the first-year university pin to symbolize your connection to the UIW community. This pin is also a symbol of the start of your collegiate journey as the pin carries the same university seal that your class ring will have upon commencement.
