We have developed the Cardinal Flight Plan to share additional information. Orientations and classes will be held in-person for Fall 2021 along with virtual options as well. In-Person Campus Tours

We are now offering in-person campus tours on Monday - Friday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Come visit our beautiful campus and experience life as a Cardinal through a walking tour.

At this time, tours are by appointment only.

Virtual Tour

Can’t visit our campus in person? Experience a virtual walking tour of campus and get a 360-degree view of key areas from the comfort of your home, at your own pace. Hear from UIW’s President, Dr. Thomas M. Evans, as well as UIW students with additional videos and photos at each tour stop to help you see life as a Cardinal.

Admissions Events

High school seniors are invited to join the UIW Office of Admissions for Rising Senior Day, an on campus event to learn about life as a Cardinal, hear from various departments, and prepare for the college admissions process. Submit your application and supporting documents by Monday, July 26, to receive an early admissions decision at the event!

**This is a student only event, welcoming high school seniors for the Fall 2022 school year.**

When: Friday, July 30, 2021

Time: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

To receive an admissions decision at Rising Senior Day:

  • Submit your completed application via GoUIW or ApplyTexas no later than Monday, July 26.
  • High school transcripts must be received by the UIW Office of Admissions prior to the event, or a physical copy can be dropped off at check in the day of the event.

Summer and Fall 2021 Graduate Virtual Information Sessions

Interested in learning more about Main Campus graduate and doctoral programs available at the University of the Incarnate Word? Join us for an interactive online session to learn about the application process and admission requirements for Main Campus graduate programs.

The Dreeben School of Educations offers information sessions for prospective students interested in pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in our Graduate Studies Program. Dr. Norman St. Clair, Director of Graduate Studies, will provide an overview of courses offered, admission processes, deadlines, financial assistance and answer any questions you may have.

The Office of Admissions opens one Saturday per month from  9 a.m. - 1 p.m. to help you with specific and general questions about your journey to become a Cardinal. Please click the dates to view the topics that will be covered each day before you register.
