Karl is the Associate Counsel for the University of the Incarnate Word. Karl received his Bachelor’s degree from Willams College, where he was a member of the tennis team, and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center. Prior to joining the OGC, Karl worked in the law firm setting defending businesses and individuals in litigation and handling various transactional matters. Over the last ten years, he has practiced in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Houston, and was included in Scene in S.A.’s 2022 “Best S.A. Lawyers” list. Outside of the law, Karl enjoys playing, coaching, and officiating tennis and spending time with family. He is fluent in Polish.
