Sharing the Love: Cardinal Couples Celebrate Valentine's Day

February 17, 2023

UIW is a home away from home for thousands of alumni and students, but for many, it’s also the place they found their life partners. During this Valentine’s Week, we caught up with Cardinal Couples of all ages and invited them to tell us more about the journey that lead them to the lives — and the loves — that God has prepared for them.

“My wife and I are both alumni of the University of the Incarnate Word’s Class of 2018. My wife is currently attending UIWSOM and will graduate this year and match in about a month. We have two beautiful children Addy (4yo) and Niko (9mo). I am a local business owner in San Antonio and do website and marketing for local clients such as Las Palapas and Mission Mitsubishi. We are so proud to be alumni of the University of the Incarnate Word. We met in high school and attended the University together. My sophomore year, I proposed and we were married right before our senior year in May 2017. We are so proud to be Cardinals and are so grateful our relationship could flourish at the University of the Incarnate Word.” – Andrew P.
