UIW Celebrates International Education Week

November 18, 2019

(San Antonio, Nov. 18, 2019) The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) is proud to participate in International Education Week. Student organizations, colleges and departments are invited to host events related to international education and cultural exchange. The event is a worldwide celebration of International Education and exchange through food, culture, music, art and educational events. There will be more than fifteen events on the UIW campus covering from German Christmas traditions to an International bazaar.

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to the U.S. to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

UIW has long been a leader in International studies with 146 sister schools in 45 countries, two campuses in Mexico, and European Study Centers in Germany and France. UIW International Affairs will host International Education Week events from Monday, Nov. 18 – Friday, Nov. 22.
