San Antonio – On Monday, March 9, Military Times announced the Best for Vets: Business Schools 2014 rankings.  The University of the Incarnate Word Extended Academic Programs-School of Extended Studies was ranked number seven on the list of 75 schools.

The organization made up of Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times and Marine Corps Times focused on culture and curriculum that cater to military veterans when conducting and scoring the third annual Best for Vets: Business Schools survey, a highly respected, nearly 80-question analysis of a graduate business school’s complete offerings for veterans.

UIW’s Extended Academic Programs is thrilled to be in the top seven schools nationally that model excellence in both education and service for our military veterans.  We are proud to serve those who so selflessly served our country,” said Dr. Cyndi Wilson Porter, vice president, UIW extended academic programs.

As with all of the Best for Vets rankings, Best for Vets: Business Schools is an editorially independent news project that evaluates the many factors that make an institution a good fit for military veterans.  For the full Best for Vets: Business Schools 2015 rankings, visit: www.militarytimes.com/bestforvets-bizschools2015.
