The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) offers classes at the Broadway campus location in the beautiful Alamo Heights neighborhood. Military and veteran students can choose from more than 90 majors across 10 schools.
The School of Professional Studies (SPS) offers accelerated in-class and online degree programs with a curriculum designed to respond specifically to the needs of the lifestyle of an adult student. Degree programs include certificates, associates, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. Benefits for military and veteran students include free textbooks (active-duty only), no academic fees, accelerated courses and discounted tuition rates. Courses are taught by scholar-practitioners with real-world experience in their respective fields.
