Supporting the Food Pantry
There are various ways an individual may support the Cardinals' Cupboard Food Pantry:
- Donate canned goods or other pantry needs such as diapers or socks (you may drop off items in room 158 of the Administration Building located on the UIW Broadway campus);
- Volunteer your time to help operate and/or market information with respect to the Food Pantry (please email Teofilo Reyes Jr. (treyes@uiwtx.edu) for more information;
- Donate personal toiletry items such as small shampoos, soaps, and combs (Note: the next time you are at a hotel, save the items and bring them to the Ettling Center, AD158 at your earliest convenience);
- Donate can openers or individually packaged plastic utensils you may obtain while ordering out or grabbing lunch or dinner (Note: save the items and bring them to the Ettling Center, AD158); and/or
- Provide a private donation which will go directly to serving those that are food insecure in our local community. For example, a $5 donation will help us buy over 10 canned goods, a $10 donation can provide meals for family of four for two days and $20 can help support a family of four for a week. Please utilize the link below to make a donation. Every dollar makes a difference.
We thank you for your generosity and commitment to our global community. Should you have any questions or need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact Ettling Center staff at (210) 283-6423 or (210) 802-3208.
