Supporting the Food Pantry

There are various ways an individual may support the Cardinals' Cupboard Food Pantry:

  • Donate canned goods or other pantry needs such as diapers or socks (you may drop off items in room 158 of the Administration Building located on the UIW Broadway campus);
  • Volunteer your time to help operate and/or market information with respect to the Food Pantry (please email Teofilo Reyes Jr. (treyes@uiwtx.edu) for more information;
  • Donate personal toiletry items such as small shampoos, soaps, and combs (Note: the next time you are at a hotel, save the items and bring them to the Ettling Center, AD158 at your earliest convenience);
  • Donate can openers or individually packaged plastic utensils you may obtain while ordering out or grabbing lunch or dinner (Note: save the items and bring them to the Ettling Center, AD158); and/or
  • Provide a private donation which will go directly to serving those that are food insecure in our local community. For example, a $5 donation will help us buy over 10 canned goods, a $10 donation can provide meals for family of four for two days and $20 can help support a family of four for a week. Please utilize the link below to make a donation. Every dollar makes a difference.
