At UIW, we acknowledge that our military service members and veterans come with unique skill sets. Many resources have been tailored specifically to assist military members and veterans in their career development and job search.
What is Handshake?
Handshake is a recruiting platform connecting UIW students to top tier companies. Through Handshake, you will be able to:
- Schedule an appointment with a Career Advisor
- Search and apply for full-time/part-time jobs
- Search and apply for internships
- Register for Career Services events
- Connect with fellow students, alumni and employers
Career Services for International Students
The Mission of UIW’s Career Services is to help students and Alumni explore and develop the opportunities offered through our programs. We have numerous resources to help you find your areas of interest through career assessment, career counseling and professional development opportunities.
We want you to know that the Career Services team realizes you are not only a part of our student body but each of you is a unique individual from diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences. Do not hesitate to reach out to the Department of Career Services with your concerns, questions and input.
