Hispanic Heritage Month Committee

Hispanic Heritage Month provides the UIW community with the opportunity to learn, discover, experience and create spaces for engaging programs, events and thought-provoking discussion in line with the University mission of fostering faith, innovation, education, service and truth.

Subcommittee

The Campus Climate Subcommittee of the Hispanic Serving Institution Steering Committee, develops initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for Hispanic students. This includes planning and organizing events that celebrate Hispanic culture, heritage, and achievement. This may include cultural festivals, guest speaker series featuring prominent Hispanic figures, social events that foster a sense of community among Hispanic students, and educational workshops on topics relevant to Hispanic students' success.
