SMS Messaging
Text messaging is a communication channel used by the Office of Enrollment Services at the University of the Incarnate Word to provide prospective students with information. By opting into SMS communications from, you agree to receive informational messages regarding admissions, enrollment, student services, events, reminders and other University-related communications.
What to know about SMS/Text Messaging
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your text messaging plans.
- Message frequency varies depending on your relationship with the University and your communication preferences.
- SMS consent and opt-in information will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers necessary to deliver SMS communications.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting Out
To opt-out from text messaging:
- Reply to a text message by typing the word: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. A final automated message will be sent confirming that the opt out has occurred and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.
