Master of Business Administration

Vision

The MBA degree programs seek to develop your understanding of how the elements and processes of business organizations relate to one another and to the external environment.  Degree requirements are designed to develop your proficiency and confidence in all of the functional areas of business and to provide you with the technical skills required for executive level business positions.

Curriculum

To fulfill the requirements for this degree, you must complete:

A. 27 semester hours of core coursework, which includes:

UIW Front

B.  6 semester hours of elective coursework

C.  3 semester hour CAPSTONE which integrates and culminates the program of study

Concentration

The H-E-B School of Business and Administration offers

  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program;      
  • An MBA with an International Business concentration;
  • An MBA with a Marketing concentration;
  • An MBA with a Sports Management concentration;

Schedule

Course offerings are scheduled to accommodate working adults:

  • Monday through Thursday evening and Saturdays
  • Continuous enrollment possible as courses are offered throughout the year
  • Students typically complete degree programs within a 2 to 3 year window.

Accreditation

The graduate degree programs are accredited:

  • Nationally, by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs
  • Regionally, by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges

Programs are supported by experienced faculty with expertise in all functional areas of business
