5-Year Bachelor's to Master's Program

Enroll in Graduate Courses as an Undergraduate

Students at the H-E-B School of Business and Administration can follow the 5-Year Bachelor's to Master's program, earning both degrees while saving time and money on a graduate education.

About the Program

The 5-Year Bachelor's to Master's program is designed for undergraduate to students who want to advance and complete a graduate degree at an accelerated rate. Students enroll in the Bachelor of Business Administration at the start of their freshman year, then during their senior year, if a student meets the graduate admissions criteria and is accepted, can begin enrollment in the Master of Business Administration or the Master of Science in Accounting.

Students in the program receive specialized advising throughout their course of study to ensure they remain on track to finish both degrees in five years. Students formally apply for admission to either the MBA or MSA programs at the start of their senior year. If accepted, students can enroll in graduate courses during the final two semesters of their undergraduate program.

Program benefits and details

  • Banded tuition, which allows for graduate courses completed as an undergraduate senior to be charged at the same rate as undergraduate courses.
  • Earning a master's degree in less than average time.
  • Obtaining a competitive advantage by entering the workforce with an advanced business degree.
