MBA - Admissions
Unconditional Admissions
If you have:
- an undergraduate degree awarded by an accredited academic institution
- an overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 GPA scale
- a score of 450 or higher on the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT). Requirement waived for applicants who have been awarded masters/post-masters degrees, and for applicants who have taken and passed tests considered comparable, i.e. Graduate Record Examination (GRE), LSAT, CPA, etc.
- an adequate foundation in the following Common Professional Components (CPCs)
Accounting Information systems Economics
Marketing International Business Finance
Business Law Quantitative Techniques Management
Adequacy in any or all of the CPCs may be demonstrated by relevant undergraduate and graduate coursework, challenge examination, and documented work experience.
Conditional Admissions
If you have an overall undergraduate GPA of less than 2.5:
You may be admitted with the understanding that you must achieve a minimum grade of "B" in each course completed through the first 12 hours of graduate study
If you have not taken the GMAT:
You may be admitted with the understanding that you will satisfy the testing requirement during the first Fall or Spring semester of enrollment, as applicable
If you do not have an adequate foundation in one or more of the CPCs:
You may be admitted with the understanding that applicable CPC requirements must be completed before you are permitted to enroll in graduate courses in the specific subject area (s), and that all CPC requirements must be satisfied prior to enrollment beyond eighteen (18) semester hours of graduate study.
