H-E-B School of Business & Administration Business Club


The Business Club at UIW supports the entrepreneurial spirit of its members by providing them opportunities for ethical, personal and professional development in a fostered environment of academic excellence.

The club holds monthly meetings, often inviting members of the local business community to speak to students. Members also benefit from regular social events and tours of local businesses. The club offers several career building events throughout the year, as well as community service opportunities.


The Business Club welcomes students and faculty of all majors and departments. Students may be of any classification, including undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, alumni and community members are also welcome to join.

  • Membership Process

    Step 1: Fill out a membership form (click here to download) and email the completed form to

    Step 2: Business Club members are required to pay a small $10 fee for dues per academic school year. Dues can be paid via the following methods:

    • Check - Make payable to UIW, and write "Business Club dues" in the memo. Place the check and membership form in the box outside Dr. Harrison's office (AGO 109), or you can slide it under the door.
    • Cash - Cash payments can be made to Dr. Harrison during office hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon or Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Business Club is led by several volunteer officers who oversee the day-to-day of the club. The current club officers are listed below.
