The Accounting Society provides students the opportunity to meet professionals working in the field of accounting and to develop relationships with the faculty at UIW and fellow accounting students. The club provides various networking opportunities during the year for students. These networking opportunities give students a chance to apply for internships with various employers.
The UIW American Marketing Association (AMA) was established in the Fall 2017 semester by students from various disciples passionate about marketing thought and practice. AMA exists to instill leadership, organizational and communication skills to its members while helping them develop a professional network in the field of marketing.
The Business Club welcomes students and faculty of all majors and departments. Students may be of any classification, including undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, alumni and community members are also welcome to join.
The Business Club holds regular meetings, often hosting members of the local business community to engage with students. The club offers several career buildings events and opportunities throughout the year, as well as community service opportunities.
Delta Mu Delta is a business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students. The DMD community seeks to foster the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership. Students are invited to join Delta Mu Delta based on their academic success. Members are honored each year at a ceremony.
