HEBSBA students, faculty volunteer for Meet the Mission

Volunteers work at local children's home

Students and faculty in the H-E-B School of Business and Administration volunteered for the University of the Incarnate Word annual Meet the Mission on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016.

Meet the Mission is UIW’s annual campus-wide service project designed to introduce students to the culture of service at the university. Student and faculty volunteers venture out to dozens of sites across San Antonio to serve those in need. 

Business Club student members and HEBSBA faculty went to their usual destination at the St. Peter-St. Joseph Children’s Home, which is operated by the Archdiocese of San Antonio. The home provides a safe refuge for children in crisis.

This year’s project was to assist in beautifying the grounds and to lend a hand to staff members, who are preparing to decorate the campus for the upcoming holiday season.
