Our master's program is designed to prepare students who wish to develop academic and professional expertise in a specific concentration. This is a non-certification degree for students interested in careers for which there is no requirement for state licensure and certification.
The Master of Arts degree requires completion of 36 semester hours of coursework, 24 of which must be in education. The degree is appropriate for students applying coursework not designated as an education course.
This Master of Education degree is designed for students completing all coursework in education. The degree requires completion of 36 semester hours of coursework based upon the graduate core curriculum and the area of concentration.
