Jingtian Li is an Associate Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word specializing in 3D generalization, programming, and indie game development. As a full time educator, he has a broad interest in every corner of game development, from programming to art. He has written articles that are regularly featured in the 3D World Magazine, and he has published full stack game development books such as Creating Games with Unreal Engine, Substance Painter, and Maya: Models, Textures, Animation, and Blueprint. Jingtian also participate in XR projects professionally.

  • 2019: Northwest Vista College 3D Animation & Game Development Advisory Board, serving as advisory board member of the 3D Animation & Game Development department of Northwest Vista. Help review curriculum, software, and hardware.
  • 2019: Meet the Mission, Served as a faculty leader. The job was sorting for the Catholic Charities Storage Facility, we helped relocating donations like chairs, food, and other stuff around the facility. The group has 8 students and me.
  • 2018: High School Advising, Advising the Animation, Game, and video departments of the John F. Kennedy High School, Help structuring future classes, determining learning resources, and choose hardware and software.
  • 2018: High School Advising, Advising the animation department of the Harlandale High School. Help tweaking the Curriculum, check the Software and hardware.
  • 2018: Meet the Mission, Served as a faculty leader. The jobs was donation sorting for Catholic Charities Archdiocese, we help organizing and relocating donations including clothing and furniture.
  • 2017: Northwest Vista College 3D Animation & Game Development Advisory Board, serving as advisory board member of the 3D Animation & Game Development department of Northwest Vista. Help review curriculum, software, and hardware.
  • 2017: Meet the Mission, Served as a faculty leader. Me and my students went to Guadalupe Home with other faculty volunteers, Veronica Castillo, Michelle Rodriguez, and Armando Villareal for some cleaning and organizing of the kitchen and other spaces. The Guadalupe Home is a safe house for a group of homeless persons.
