This event will feature the students of Ariana Reyes Acosta Voice Studio. Students have earned spots in the Texas all-state choir. They plan to continue their studies in music.

 

Ryley Hall4 p.m. | Ryley Hall

Ryley Hall is a pop multi-talented musician and singer-songwriter. She plays guitar, drums, piano and sings with a poise that is beautifully captivating and expressive. Riley's debut album "Moments" is available on all digital music platforms.

 

Brainpower Connection Logo4:15 p.m. | Brainpower Schools Perform

The Brainpower Connection is a circle of support, influence, and collegiality established in connection with seven different institutions. Enjoy performances from students of St. Anthony Catholic High School, St. Peter Prince of the Apostles School, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School and St. Mary Magdalen School.

The St. Anthony Catholic High School's Yellow Jackets Mariachi Group is joining us by performing a variety of songs and pieces.

The Incarnate Word High School's Irish Dance and Drill Team will be joining Light the Way to show off their award-winning talent and spirit.

UIW President Thomas M. Evans and honored guests flip the switch to illuminate the lights throughout the campus.

University Ambassadors of Spirit and Pride and the Cheer and Dance Teams will be performing routines guaranteed to get your toes tapping.

Bringing their harmonious tones to Light the Way, come hear the UIW Choral and Cardinal Singers perform songs of the season.

Originally from Texas Rio Grande Valley, Nashra Bodoraya is a second-year student at UIW's Rosenberg School of Optometry. Outside of her studies, Nashra counts music as one of her greatest passions.

 

Indoor Desert8 p.m. | Indoor Desert

Indoor Desert, an outfit of San Antonio natives, aims to celebrate music across multiple genres during energetic and crowd-centered performances. Their original works dig deep into their Americana roots, while also leaning into influences from all across the musical landscape.

 

Fireworks9:30 p.m. | Firework Finale

The evening comes to a close with our traditional fireworks display, made possible by our friends at Hill Electric.
