Cheer on the Cardinals and mingle with fellow alumni and friends at our fun-filled RedZone Tailgates. These family-friendly tailgates are hosted before select UIW athletic events, both in San Antonio and regional locations for away fixtures.
This Season…Meet Me in The RedZone Tailgate!
Celebrate home football games and select UIW athletic events at the RedZone Tailgate! Come together with alumni and friends of UIW to enjoy festivities, including:
- Live music
- Delicious food
- Cold drinks
- Kids inflatables and activities
- Catching up with friends, new and old
- Conversations with UIW faculty and staff
- And much more!
Tickets/Registration
RedZone Tailgate tickets for the UIW football season are available now:
- $15 for online registration
- $20 for walk-up registration on the day of the tailgate.
RedZone Tailgate admission is free for children 12 and under.
Registration for the RedZone tailgate before the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Nov. 4 is free of charge. Free registration for RedZone tailgates is also available for select UIW athletic events.
FAQs
RedZone Tailgates for football games will begin three hours prior to game time and end 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Some event times may vary. Please note that times are also subject to change based on changes to the game time of the event.
RedZone Tailgates are family-friendly events! Admission is free for children 12 and under.
Those who pre-registered online can go straight to our express check-in lane upon arrival to gain quick entry to the RedZone Tailgate at home football games.
If you did not register online prior to the tailgate, we will be accepting credit card and cash walk-up registrations in our walk-up lane for $20 per person.
Entry to some select RedZone Tailgates will be free of charge. Please review each individual event for pricing information.
You must present a valid ID with proof of age at registration to receive alcoholic beverages at RedZone Tailgates.
At UIW football games, parking is available for $10 per car on the UIW Broadway campus in the Ancira Parking Garage. This parking garage is accessible only from the Highway 281 access road entrance. Parking is available in the Ancira Parking Garage on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Additional parking is available at Founders Hall (4119 Broadway) for $10.
Parking information for other RedZone Tailgate events will be sent out to attendees following registration.
