Visit UIW!

Attention: All UIW offices will be closed on July 4^th and 5^th in observance of Independence Day. In addition, our offices will be closing at 2:00 p.m. on all other Fridays in July (July 12^th, 19^th, and 26^th). Campus tours will not be available at 3 p.m. on the aforementioned dates. Please contact the Office of Admissions if you have any questions or concerns.

Please note that as of January 14, 2013 the City of San Antonio will be closing all west bound traffic on Hildebrand between Broadway and the San Antonio River. These closures will not affect travel to UIW but will impact traffic in the area. Please allow yourself additional time when visiting campus. See map for departure routes and call the Office of Admissions if you have any questions or concerns.

Daily Tours

Sign up for one of our daily campus walking tours with a friendly and knowledgeable student tour guide. Campus tours are given at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday – Friday and average an hour long. If you would like to meet with an admissions counselor, please plan on arriving 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Optional residence hall tours are available after the campus tour at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Affording UIW Information Session

Learn how you can afford a private education and discover the numerous financial aid opportunities available to UIW students. Admissions and Financial Aid representatives will be available to help answer your questions.

Spring Dates: January 30, February 20, March 21, April 18, and May 22, 2013
Location: UIW Mabee Library Auditorium.
Time: 6:30 p.m.

Saturday Campus Visit Days

High school students and their families are invited to attend an information session with representatives from the Offices of Admissions, Residence Life, Financial Assistance, and UIW faculty members.  Campus tours and residence hall tours will also be available after the information session.

Senior One Stop Shop Day

High School Seniors are invited to join us for this all inclusive day. Students can apply to UIW and get an on the spot decision with completed applications and accepted students can complete all the necessary steps for enrollment.

Cardinal Preview Day

Attending Cardinal Preview Day is a great way to learn about UIW. Prospective students can speak to faculty members from all academic programs and meet with representatives from Financial Aid, Athletics, Support Services and more. Attendees will be able to take campus tours and residence hall tours. Special sessions for transfer students will also be held.

Cardinal Overnighter

The Cardinal Overnighter is a great way for admitted high school seniors to see what life at UIW is really like. Students will engage in activities in the evening, spend the night with current UIW students, and attend classes the next day.

 Group Tours

Special group tours are arranged for groups of 10 or more with a maximum of 50 students. Due to a high volume of tour requests, elementary and middle school group tours can only be requested 2-3 weeks before the perferred visit date. High school groups will be given priority but must allow at least 2-3 weeks advance notice for scheduling.

UIW student-led group tours, admissions presentations and dining on campus can be arranged on an individual basis.
