2017-2018 Endowed Scholarship Application - Open to returning students with a cumulative GPA of 3.6+, or a high school student who meets the Academic Scholarship criteria established by the UIW Office of Admissions. Deadline 5:00pm on April 21, 2017.

2017-2018 Pat & Dorothy Legan Scholarship - Open to full-time undergraduate students or graduating high school seniors who will enroll full-time. Must complete the 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Deadline 5:00pm on April 21, 2017.

San Antonio Livestock Exposition (S.A.L.E.) Scholarship Application - Open to incoming first-time freshmen, or students entering their junior year at UIW; must be enrolled full-time in degree-seeking coursework, be a U.S. Citizen, be a resident of Texas, be a graduate of a Texas high school (public, private, or homeschooled) on or after May 2017 (May 2015 for junior students), be studying in a S.A.L.E. approved major (see application for list of eligible majors), and have a cumulative GPA of 2.8+. Deadline 5:00pm on Friday, June 30, 2017.

April 2017:

  • Duncan Scholars Program Scholarship Fund - Eligible applicants must be children (eligible to be covered by Enterprise Products Company benefits) of an Enterprise Products Company employee or of a Dixie Pipeline employee who have at least three years of employment service by the date the scholarship application closes. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in high school or a 2.5 GPA in the prior two academic college semesters.  Applicants will be scored based upon multiple factors, including financial need, academic performance and community service. Students must be attending a nonprofit, accredited institution in the United States. Applicants who do not receive an award in any given year are eligible to re-apply in the following year.  Awards may be renewed for up to 8 semesters toward an undergraduate program. Deadline April 15, 2017.

  • Rotary San Antonio Youth Education Foundation Scholarship - Must be currently enrolled full-time with a cumulative GPA of 2.0+, and be a full-time resident of South Texas. Deadline April 24, 2017.
  • Texas Burn Survivor Society 2017 Scholarship - Open to students who have a total body surface area burn percentage of 5% or over, who have obtained a high school diploma or GED, who will pursue a degree or certificate in a specific vocation, at an accredited institution of higher learning, and who are residents of Bexar or surrounding counties (Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, or Wilson). Deadline April 28, 2017.
  • 2017 Dr. Alma S. Adams Scholarship for Outreach and Health Communications to Reduce Tobacco Use Among Priority Populations - Open to students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0+ in the most recent academic year.   • Goldberg Wisman Cairo Scholarship - Open to currently enrolled students with a 3.0+ GPA. Deadline July 1, 2017.
  • Net Geek Pro Scholarship - Open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents, enrolled in an accredited collete or university, who are majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a mixed disciplinary major that includes a computing component such as computational science, medical informatics, or gaming and animation.
