Social Justice and community service lie at the heart of UIW's mission and at the mission of the Catholic Church. Jesus Christ called all His followers to love their neighbor. At UIW we answer that call to love through social justice and community service, just as the founding Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word did and still do.
