Study Abroad

Criminal Justice

The study abroad program is the perfect opportunity for students to travel internationally and gain an in-depth understanding of policing, correctional histories and other crime related issues in another country. Students are also able to explore various countries in their free time. All courses are taught in the English language, and they began and end on UIW's main campus. Courses, housing and numerous excursions are included in the program. Scholarships and financial aid are available.

UIW Theatre Arts majors are encouraged to study abroad. Theatre Arts students can take advantage of various short term trips by the University, or spend a semester abroad.

The University of the Incarnate Word's Department of Theatre Arts has an exchange agreement with Toi Whakaari O Aotearoa; The New Zealand School of Drama. Toi Whakaari is the national conservatory training school for the dramatic arts in New Zealand. Exceptionally talented performers who have demonstrated excellence in class work and production can apply to spend a semester at Toi Whakaari.
