Our Mission
Student Support Services (SSS) at the University of the Incarnate Word is a federally funded TRiO program. The UIW Student Support Services program will provide academic support, leadership development, and educational support services to 200 students who meet first generation, low income, and/or disability criteria, as defined by federal guidelines. The Student Support Services program will create a supportive, educational atmosphere to actively promote retention and graduation for participants.
TRiO Student Support Services is a federally funded grant program by the U.S. Department of Education, designed to serve 200 students from 2010-2015.
