Bio

Mr. Spangler has served the School of Mathematics, Science and Engineering at UIW as the Mathematics Lab Supervisor since 2014. Prior to that, he taught high school classes for the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, electronics for NASA at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, and mathematics for five different junior and senior colleges in Texas. Other than helping students becoming proficient in mathematics, he has also written numerous books, manuals, a one-hour movie, a weekly newspaper column on genealogy, and has served as editor and writer for a monthly electronics publication.

In his spare time he works with special needs adults at his church and at the Mission Road Developmental Center in San Antonio.
