Bio

Dr. Xiaochuan Hu is a Visiting Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of the Incarnate Word since 2018. He was born and raised in Tianjin, which is a coastal metropolis in Northern China, also known as the gate to the capital, Beijing.

Dr. Hu received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at Texas Tech University in 2018. His research focus is mathematical modeling of tumor control with immunotherapy. Dr. Hu's primary expertise is in computational/numerical mathematics, nonlinear systems and differential equations.

Dr. Hu has taught various courses at the University of the Incarnate Word including College Algebra, Calculus I, Introduction to Probability & Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
