For overtime purposes the following applies

Overtime is calculated on a single workweek and does not permit averaging of hours over two or more weeks. For example, an employee who works 30 hours one week and 50 hours the next will receive overtime pay for the hours worked beyond 40 in the second week, even though the average number of hours worked in the two weeks is 40.

Overtime pay is not paid for hours in excess of eight per day or for work on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays if you have not physically worked a 40-hour week. For example, an employee who works 32 hours receives 8 hours for holiday and works 8 hours on Saturday will receive 40 hours regular time and 8 hours holiday pay (No overtime pay). This rule also applies to vacation and sick time during the work week.
