The Word In Action

 A day of community service to celebrate the inauguration of Dr. Thomas Evans, President of the University of the Incarnate Word. This community service fun-for-all takes place on Saturday, March 24th, and will begin with FREE BREAKFAST (7:30am – 8:30am, Student Engagement Center Ballroom) followed by a morning full of service, fellowship, and of course, fun! If you would like a community service activity for the whole family, or you just really like our beautiful UIW campus, then the on-campus activities are for you! Campus volunteers will sort donations, make care packages and cards for veterans, work in our UIW gardens, and visit the Village at Incarnate Word for quality time with our seniors.

For high-spirited community service with some commuting involved! Volunteers go out into the San Antonio community to complete projects that support those who are underserved in our city. Teams of volunteers can visit a Food Bank farm, beautify green spaces, clean up graffiti, and much more!
