Financial Planning CFP® Certification
The Certificate program at UIW is the only on-campus certification offered in San
Antonio. This program has been registered with the CFP® Board. The students who successfully
complete the courses will fulfill the education requirement to be eligible to take
the CFP® exam. Program completion does not guarantee success of the CFP® Certification
Examination.
The CFP® is recognized as the highest standard in Financial Planning, qualifying financial planning professionals to provide their clients with comprehensive financial advice. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the marks CFP©, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, and CFP (with flame logo), which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.
Supervisory and Management Certification
The H-E-B School of Business and Administration, in partnership with the San Antonio
Area Foundation, offers a professional, non-academic certificate for mid-level and/or
first-time nonprofit managers.
This 30-hour program is designed to equip nonprofit staff with the management and supervisory skills needed to successfully lead a team of people.
