Bachelor of Science in Engineering
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree is designed to prepare future professionals to obtain skills and knowledge to understand the mechanics of a machine or how to manage in engineering and technology firms.
UIW Engineering students will:
- Gain skills in signal analysis, electrical frequencies, and more
- Have the opportunity to work with faculty on ongoing research projects
- Learn in small class sizes with 1-on-1 faculty support
- Complete a full-time, 129-hour degree program that combines a strong core of math, science and engineering courses

Career Outlook and Opportunities
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the engineering field is expected to grow a total of 4% between 2014 and 2024, adding about 65,000 new jobs.
