The Latina Leadership Institute (LLI) formed by the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) started to work with the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) and the Ettling Center for Civic Leadership (ECCL) Fall 2015 to create a bridge between Latina leaders within the community and Latina leaders within the university community. The purpose of the CLMP is to enhance the UIW students’ professional and academic performance through graduation. In the first cohort, 10 mentors and 10 mentees volunteered to engage regularly and attend training sessions coordinated between partnering groups. As a pilot, the program will provide a foundation of future programming and initiatives.

The Cardinal Latina Mentoring Program is not taking applications at the present time. Although, if you are interested in such a program, we invite you to contact the Ettling Center for Civic Leadership & Sustainability at (210) 283-6423 or visit the office located in Administration Building Room 158.
