Individuals included in this category are students, employees and faculty that either live in residence halls, attend class on campus, or work on campus. All individuals who test positive for COVID-19 or are presumed positive are asked to isolate for a minimum of 10 days, with the last 24 hours being fever free without the use of fever reducing medication, and improvement in symptoms.
Cumulative Cases is the total number of individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 who either have an active infection or have recovered from COVID-19. Individuals included in this category are students, employees and faculty that either live in residence halls, attend class on campus, or work on campus.
Prevalence rate on campus is the total number of positive cases within the university population. Individuals included in this category are students, employees and faculty that either live in residence halls, attend class on campus, or work on campus.
Percentage of positive cases on-campus is defined as the percentage of people who test positive for COVID-19 out of COVID-19 tests performed. Data is collected from UIW Health Services testing, UIW Sports Medicine, and outside medical reports. All individuals who test positive for COVID-19 or are presumed positive are asked to isolate for a minimum of 10 days, with the last 24 hours being fever free without the use of fever reducing medication.
