UIW Wind Ensemble presents Kaleidoscope

San Antonio – Students from UIW’s Wind Ensemble performed live in the Kelso Art Center’s Concert Hall for a socially distanced year-end concert. Conducted by Dr. Brett Richardson, the program included nine pieces from different musical genres. 

Members of the Wind Ensemble demonstrated their mastery of instrument and musicianship over the nearly one-hour performance. The 38 wind performers were accompanied by members of UIW’s Percussion Ensemble and a keyboardist.  

While no audience was present, the event premiered on YouTube for all to enjoy. Students, and all involved in the concert production, adhered to the University’s COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring a safe environment.
