UIW Percussion Ensemble Presents Year-End Concert

San Antonio – Students from UIW’s Percussion Ensemble performed live in the Kelso Art Center Concert Hall for a socially distanced year-end concert. Directed by Dr. Stefan Cadra, the program included pieces from percussionist Brian Blume, jazz legend Chick Corea and contemporary composer David Gillingham.

Throughout the concert, students demonstrated skill on a wide array of instrument types and their talent.

While no audience was present, the event premiered on YouTube for all to enjoy. Students, and all involved in the concert production, adhered to the University’s COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring a safe environment.
