Here are a few items you will need to make sure you’ve taken care of between now and the fall.

  • Submit your final high school transcript.
Please ask your high school to send your final transcript, including date of graduation, to the address below before the beginning of the fall semester:

    University of the Incarnate Word

    Office of Admissions
    4301 Broadway, CPO 285
    San Antonio, TX 78209
  • Submit your proof of vaccination against meningitis to health services.
You can email them to healthsvcs@uiwtx.edu.
  • Apply for on-campus housing (if you plan to live on campus).
Information and applications are available at Residence Life website.
  • Fill out your pre-scheduling questionnaire.
The pre-scheduling questionnaire will be available on May 4, 2020. We recommend completing your pre-scheduling questionnaire as soon as possible, once available, to ensure preferred class allocation in the fall.
  • Contact the Business Office.
Students must pay tuition or enter a payment plan before the semester begins. Late fees will be assessed on delinquent accounts.
  • Submit your health insurance waiver (if needed).
All UIW students must have medical insurance. If you are insured by a family plan, please ensure you waive coverage through the University to avoid charges. Contact the Business Office for more information.

Parents of incoming freshmen are invited to a Virtual Parent Orientation Information Session to hear from departments and ask questions about their students starting classes this fall.

Select a date convenient for you and join us via Zoom.
