Heritage Day 2003

A special thanks goes out to everybody who helped with the 10th Annual Heritage Day activities, which were held throughout the UIW campus on Oct. 15. The celebration began with a prayer service at the CCVI Cemetery. In addition, Incarnate Word recognized and awarded all regular, full-time administrators, faculty and staff employees for their years of service. A few employees dressed up for the Meet & Greet, held at the Brackenridge Villa following the employee recognition ceremony.

7th Annual Peace Day

UIW and Campus Ministry is hosting the 7th Annual Peace Day event. More than 20 organizations will be on campus looking for volunteers from UIW to complete their service hours. The agencies will set up their tables from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. in front of Dubuis Hall. Free lunch will be provided. For more information, please call Campus Ministry @ 829-3128.

Save A Life

Save A Life Give A Phone provides emergency cell phones for the elderly, the disabled and many of the battered women’s shelters across the United States. If you would like to donate your old phone, please stop by the Public Relations Office. Your cell phone donation is tax-deductible. For more information, call the PR office @ 829-6001.

United Way Employee Campaign Finale Party

Where: Majorie Jordan Carillon Plaza (Clock Tower area), Free Breakfast tacos
